How early should I book a session with you?
To maintain the highest level of service and curation for every client, reservations should be made 1–2 months in advance. I understand that special moments can pop up unexpectedly; however, any calendar openings secured with less than 2 weeks notice will require an additional $150-$400 priority booking fee, depending on the event.
Do you travel?
I do travel!! My home base is 3 hours away from West Michigan. I will make sure to include in your quote outside of my radius. Anywhere in the USA. But PLEASE someone book me anywhere else in the world :)
How do your payments work?
When you book any session with me, I require a 50% non-refundable retainer to hold your date. The rest of the payment is due one month before your wedding date or session. Unless otherwise told by me via contract. Branding and Content creation is based on client based contracts and payments are due per contract agreement.
Do I have to order prints through you?
I do not offer prints at this time. I have local recommendations that will print the best quality photos. I will also make sure to tell you where not to go. But this is something I am working towards in my future studio!
Do you shoot destination weddings?
Yes, I photograph both intimate weddings and elopements. For both types of events, my services remain the same. I'll provide guidance, support, and feedback so you can customize your experience to what you truly love. I will be there every step of the way to make sure you have both an AMAZING EXPERIENCE & HEART-WARMING PHOTOS!
How much hiking do your couples do?
Let me make sure this is bolded “YOU DON’T NEED TO HIKE TO HAVE A BEAUTIFUL ELOPEMENT DAY”
An adventure elopement doesn’t always mean that hiking is involved. The ultimate goal of an adventure elopement is in the intentional details. So truly, “adventure” actually means a day that would leave you with beautiful memories you don’t want to forget. If you’re looking to hike, I recommend no more than 2-3 miles each way. Otherwise, if you’re comfortable with a short walk I can look for a location that is easily accessible that still has epic views.
How far in advance should we book you as our elopement photographer?
We can help plan your elopement in as little as a few weeks, but ideally, we like to plan between 12-18 months in advance. Booking early also helps ensure we are available on your preferred date.
How long after our session should I expect my gallery to be delivered?
Here's where small business matters. I want to be very transparent. It varies by client and what package you chose. I will give you a specific date after the event through a follow up email. Rush fees will apply when necessary. Always reach out if you have any questions!
Do you offer sneak peeks?
Yes! I try to get you a handful of your photos before delivering your full gallery! Believe me, I know how hard it is to wait to see your photos so I try my best!! I will include dates via email after the event with dates on what to expect. Depending on how busy I am I try to make sure you have a realist expectation.
How many photos can I expect to have delivered?
Okay so this is a tricky one, cause lets be real…I overshoot like a mad woman. I don’t like to miss anything!! For your portrait sessions you typically get a minimum of 50-100 edited photos. But I honestly deliver ALL my favorite photos so you’ll more than likely get WAY more than 100 I do not like to cap my images quantity. Images that require longer edits and retouching will have an extra fee discussed via phone or email.
When I reach out to you, how long should I expect to wait for a response?
2-4 business days. I do my best to respond to all of you!! I never want you to think that I’m ignoring you because that is 100% not the case! Since I'm self-employed I ask that you kindly have patience as I manage all aspects of my small business. But I will make sure to check spam from time to time!
How many photographers do we get?
Booking with me includes one photographer. If your package is going to require more services I will book a 2nd shooter and recommend local videographers.
How much does it cost to elope?
How much your elopement will cost depends on what what you want to experience and your guest size. At a minimum, you’ll need wedding attires and a photographer (ME!)

How many guests can we have?
We believe that you deserve to have all the important people in your life present on your elopement/wedding day
If these loved ones (family or not) are significant to you, they should be there. This is why I don’t limit the amount of guests with my packages.
However, when it comes to planning an outdoor wedding using nature as your backdrop, we recommend keeping your size to 15 guests or less
Some National Parks, State Parks, BLM Lands place limits on the guest size to protect trails and native plants.
